We are looking for a Switchboard Operator/Receptionist to join the team based at our modern, purpose-built offices in Trafford Park (close to Media City and the Trafford Centre). Supporting our busy head office, the purpose of this role is to be the first line of contact for all callers. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Answering and connecting incoming calls
  • Dealing with enquiries from internal staff, clients, and candidates
  • Providing cover for the Reception desk as required - being a friendly and professional first point of contact for all visitors to the building
  • Updating telephone directories

The suitable candidate for this role will a confident and professional telephone manner, the ability to work quickly and accurately in a polite manner, a good standard of spoken and written English, and the ability to work well under pressure. Previous experience within a switchboard, customer-facing, or call centre environment is essential.
