Supportability Engineer

Location: Warton, Samlesbury or Brough

Duration: Initially until 30th November 2021

Rate: £40 per hour LTD

A Reliability & Maintainability Contractor is required to join a fast jet Supportability Team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Reliability and Maintainability predictions/assessments on replacement/modifications
• Carry out in-service data analysis and revised forward looking predictions
• Review Supplier data
• Compile FMECA from External inputs
• FRACAS implementation using new Reliasoft toolset
• R&M analysis and inputs to the safety case
• Liaison with Customer community (UK, KSA, Aus etc) and with other BAE Systems departments (Maintenance, Supply Chain, Modelling etc)
• Completion of UK Customer annual case report

Proven Ability / Key Skills

• Knowledge of carrying out Reliability predictions
• Knowledge in reviewing and manipulating event arising data
• Familiar with carrying out Maintainability assessments in order to influence the design/modification of equipment/systems

Additional

Due to the sensitive nature of the product all applicants must have worked within the Defence / Military industry within the last 12 months or be capable of obtaining Security Clearance (SC level minimum).

Whilst the majority of the team is Brough based this role is site agnostic and will initially be based as working from home. Post a return to the office the successful candidate will be required to attend the nearest site (Warton, Samlesbury or Brough).
