Morson International are currently recruiting for an experienced Supply Chain Specialist from the commercial aviation sector for a leading aerospace client to be based in Camberley.

This role is required to support the Forward Material Operations function within the Global Fleet Care programme, supporting the commercial aircraft fleet for various airline customers. The primary responsibility is to ensure materials are available within the network to support Aircraft Maintenance and moved around the network as required, cost effectively, to ensure the aircraft are able to depart on time and to flight schedule, this would encompass various aspects of the following processes.

This role will require you to work a rotating shift of the following: 4 days on (07:00 - 19:00) 4 days off 4 nights on (19:00 - 07:00) 4 days off Key Requirements of this role: - Emergent Requirements (AOG materials) Support. - Work with Maintenance Planning to ensure material is never a cause for missed or re scheduled Maintenance by actioning agreed material movements as agreed with the Maintenance and Material Planners. - Working with Maintenance Planning, Materials Planning and internal Logistics staff to ensure the most cost effective solution is used in terms of material movements and maintenance planning locations. - Monitoring and managing part supply within the network to enable aircraft defects to be rectified in a cost effective way. - Work with the 3PL's and internal Logistics teams to ensure materials, once identified and sourced, are moved by the fastest and most cost effective means possible to the required destination. - Track shipments to ensure deliveries are scheduled with aircraft down time. - Conduct other Materials related activities as requested by your Team Lead or Manager. - Ensure that systems data is 100% accurate and updated completely during Shift. - Ensure clear concise handovers are carried out with oncoming shift. - Collaboration with all relevant operational requirements such as shortages, demand planning and process development and improvement. - Developing processes and training documentation as required to support continued development of the Fleet Material Solutions department. - Occasional international travel within Europe and possibly further afield.

Qualifications: - Experience in Airline / Aviation MRO materials management and supply chain logistics disciplines MCIPS or CILT preferred. - Travel Minimal however may be required to support on site activities for AC Maintenance. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills and able to project a positive customer interface at all times. - Ability to adapt and make quick decisions in high pressure, dynamic situations. - Excellent multi-tasking skills. - Ability to work on own initiative and with minimum direct supervision. - Good organisational & presentation skills. - Fluency in written and verbal English.
