An exciting opportunity has opened within a Filton based aerospace company for a Supply Chain Quality Manage to work within a team led by the Lead Supply Chain and Quality Manager and report directly to the Head of POELA.

You will be accountable for a portfolio of New Products Introductions related to Landing Gear and Fuel Systems suppliers who supply equipment to multiple Airbus civil aircraft programmes. You will form a strong network within the PO community and across a multi-functional working environment. This is a challenging role and is crucial in supporting Airbus Operations to achieve on-time and on-quality aircraft deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Supplier Selection
- Industrial capability assessments
- Supplier performance analysis
- Initial Supplier capacity assessments
- Industrial performance analysis
• Supplier Industrial Readiness
- Working with design teams to identify critical design features
impacting manufacturability and Industrialization
- Assuring application of APQP process with support of Supply Chain Quality Specialists
- Implemented as part of APQP techniques such as DFMEA – PFMEA methodology
• Supplier Risk Management & Surveillance – carry out the following actions with assigned
suppliers to meet requirements of EN9100, EASA21G
- Completion of Desktop Surveillance Process
- Auditing (QMS, Product, Process, GRESS-IPCA)
- Support and maintain supplier Risk Register, Capacity Contingency Process (CCP) &
Transfer of Work processes
