Supply Chain Professional; based in Blackburn, 6 month contract; £14.50 per hour
A vacancy has arisen within a Ground Service Repairs Case by Case Team, for a Supply Support Professional working for a large aerospace company based near Blackburn. The successful candidate will be required to support various activities across a range of contracts associated with an aircraft Repairs Service.
This includes the process and management of European and Overseas Customers, customer orders for unserviceable arisings against In-service repairs, warranties and recalls for General Systems, Structures, Avionics and AGE equipment.
The Case by Case Repairs Operations Team plays a fundamental role in supporting the Customer Operational requirements across various programmes. The role is required to support and deliver customer requirements within stringent timescales and interaction with key stakeholders across all business functions is integral to the role.
The role will include:
- Data entry into the relevant IT Systems and operating manual and swivel chair processes
- Managing customer orders to achieve schedule adherence and KPI's whilst acting within agreed contractual requirements.
- Liaison with key interface areas including various sources of supply, Factory and EPC's
- Performance reporting
- Query management
The candidate should have good written and verbal communication skills, demonstrate a keen approach to supporting a range of tasks and have excellent customer focus skills, be IT literate and have some experience in a support environment - although all necessary training will be given. You will be proficient in MS office packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Good communication, team working & motivation skills are essential.
