This post will focus upon inventory within the Typhoon AGE Service at RAF Coningsby directing the detailed planning activities on a day by day basis that will need to be undertaken by the AGE Team demand planners to maximise asset availability in line with customer platform utilisation. The Post holder will be required to develop innovative support solutions, in association with other Supply Chain functions and TyTAN Value Streams, in order to achieve higher levels of AGE asset availability. The post holder will be required to build a day to day working relationship with the Customer and wider AGE community for the purposes of monitoring maintenance and calibration activities. Responsible for the direct day to day interfacing activity with GEF at RAF Coningsby for the control and direction of AGE maintenance and some calibration activities. Ensuring that the activities undertaken support aircraft availability through ensuring maximum AGE asset availability.

WORKING HOURS:

- 5 days p/wk (Mon-Fri) around relevant site core hours (7.30am - 4.30pm Mon - Thurs, 7.30am - 12pm Fri).

- Hours required to work per week are 37.00 unless otherwise stated (this does not include lunch breaks).

- Start and finish times to be agreed with local Line Management, in accordance with local site core hours. - Lunch break allowance is 30 minutes between 12.30 - 1:00pm (or as agreed with Line Manager). 30 mins will automatically be deducted each working day by the electronic time management system.

- Dependant on workload, local management may request more or less hours are worked within this contract.


Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to perform tasks suitable to the internal level of this role. The role will contain, but will not be limited to, the following;

Reporting to the AGE Service Delivery Team Leader at RAF Coningsby

Acting as the GEF interface for the support of AGE and undertake on-base AGE management activities to ensure that the airworthiness, performance and maintenance of operational capability are afforded the highest priority and co-located within this area so as to maintain a close working relationship with all on-base AGE stakeholders. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with the wider AGE community within TyTAN, BAE Systems Ground Service, DE&S, HQ 1 Group ILOC and the RAF customer and the AGE Engineering Authority and AGE Support Contractors. Provision/coordination of IMS tasking, Repair and Calibration Orders for GEF, TMEC, AWES and Oxy Bay on all Typhoon related AGE maintenance activities. Ensure that all AGE activities are performed I.A.W. the relevant processes and procedures and within the agreed performance metrics for AGE management service. Responsible for ensuring that the service delivers I.A.W. all relevant procedures, policies, processes and internal governance to minimise risk. (ie QA, SHE, MAOS 145, QR640) Support to the IF&P AGE SME personnel in understanding the customers' present and future platform utilisation and priorities in order to ensure availability of assets matches fleet requirement. Supporting the wider AGE team at Coningsby and Lossiemouth to maintain high levels of integration and communication across Manage Assets and the TyTAN organisation.
