The role of Continuous Improvement Practitioner falls within the Strategy and Capability area of Supply Chain, focusing on functional improvement projects, driving to reduce waste, streamline processes and provide subject matter expertise. This role will report directly to the Procurement Leader (Continuous Improvement & Transformation), supporting and delivering individual improvement activities, using a standardised toolset and methodology.
Key tasks will include, but are not limited to:
Support and delivery of Supply Chain functional improvement projects
Process mapping, problem solving facilitation and training support
Data collation and analysis
The ideal candidate will possess Continuous Improvement experience with supplemented and relevant evidence
Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
Significant presentation experience to a range of audience types and sizes
A high level of computer literacy, including competent use of full Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Desirable skills would include Lean/Six Sigma accreditation and training, with end to end Supply Chain knowledge.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate previous Continuous Improvement experience within a professional environment. Furthermore, they will be able to evidence successful delivery of projects/improvement activities within a professional environment.
Data analysis and processing experience is desirable, with the ability to collate, analyse and present back findings from large data sources.
Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will be SC cleared or eligible for this level of clearance.
