An exciting vacancy for a Supplier Quality Engineer, ideally with a background in Aerospace Engineering and Manufacturing.

Based near the beautiful town Gloucester and salaried at c£45,000

Company

Design and manufacture parts and components for the Aerospace industry.

Role

You will work as a part of a quality team, focusing on Supplier Quality Assurance. Your role will be to ensure that suppliers act within agreed with the quality requirements and processes. Working with stakeholders and supply chain where this is not the case, and in turn lead resolutions.

You will identify, verify, maintain and recommend quality and improvement processes within the supply chain and company where required. Traveling to supplier sites will be essential to role.

Day to day tasks

  • Quality Audits
  • Support Root Cause Analysis
  • Support project/business planning
  • Work with internal stakeholders and relevant departments regarding SQA
  • Compiling report for suppliers and management team
  • Support Continuous Improvement

Candidate

You will ideally be a qualified and experienced in Quality Engineering, with a proven background in working within the Supply Chain function of a Manufacturing company.

Certified Quality Assurance training is also essential.

Experience within an Aerospace / AS9100 environment is very desirable, as is training or experience in continuous/process improvement.

Able to communicate internal and externally, with the drive and energy to succeed in an already successful business.

Remuneration

Up to £45,000 per annum plus package.
