Warehouse Administrator

Morson International are currently recruiting a Warehouse Administrator to work for one of our defence clients based in Catterick. This is a contract position until the end of October 2020.

The purpose of this role is to deliver the workshop processes that enable vehicles/assets to be efficiently repaired. Working closely to support the workshop supervisors and as part of a multi-skilled team, you will co-ordinate and expedite activities in the workshop to assist in making the most efficient use of workshop staff, space and parts.


* Liaising with supervisors to support with administration activities related to workshop delivery.
* Liaising with internal (eg planning, I&RM, customer services) and external stakeholders to expedite workshop activities.
* System administration - ERP, safety near misses, asset management, quality, Learning Management System (LMS)
* Ensuring work areas remain safety compliant
* Ensuring staff have and comply with PPE requirements


* To adhere to company policies at all times
* Provide administrative support to conduct the following (not exhaustive) list of activities:
* Creating material demands and emergent work (SOPADDs)
* Requesting additional hours for emergent work from MCMO
* Scanning paperwork into DMS
* Focal point for James queries and obtaining responses
* Focal point for MCMO job pack queries and obtaining responses
* Configuration of job packs for customer services
* Requesting call ins/out from customer services
* Handling NSRs/EFRs with I&RM
* Returning spares through the 508 process
* Logging and monitoring cross-servicing/cannibalisation
* Raising RCAs & RFCs
* Raising and monitoring FM requests


* Adhere to prescribed health and safety procedures
* To complete outputs within the allocated time
* To complete tasks to the appropriate quality / output standard level
* To use systems in line with processes
* To follow workshop and associated processes
* To ensure data entered into IT systems is fully complete and accurate
* Ensuring management chain is notified of risks of meeting output plan as soon as is apparent
* Ensuring company processes are adhered to


* Authority to request transport and travel requirements (pool cars, hotels etc.)
* Authority to submit IT requests
* Authority to complete non-conformance report (NCR)
* Authority to update Learning Management System (LMS)
* Authority to submit H&S and Security near misses / reports
* Authority to use production systems (e.g. ERP, JAMES)
* Authority to request training needs
* Authority to stop work/production where activity is deemed unsafe
