Job Title: Subsea Controls Engineer
To undertake subsea controls engineering activities in support of FEED and Execute Phase project scopes
Directly supervises: None

Job scope (budget, management, specific criteria):
Undertake Subsea Controls engineering at FEED and Execute phases of field development.
Typical background and experience required:
Relevant Engineering degree or equivalent.
Effective team member with proven communications skills.
Minimum 7 years in subsea controls project or design engineering.
Experience with broad range of subsea controls equipment design and system engineering.
Review and comment on subsea controls vendor provided documentation.
Review and comment system integration and EFAT test procedures.
Participate in subsea control vendor design reviews and workshops.
Ensure subsea controls equipment meets the project technical requirements.
Preparation and checking discipline deliverables (functional specifications, schematics etc.)
Report progress of vendor subsea control system deliverables.
Ensure subsea controls design meets the required project safety standards
May participate in aspects of Project Safety issues when required
Participate in HAZID, ENVID and HAZOP reviews
Able to quickly react to changing priorities whilst protecting overall delivery.
Ability to identify pragmatic & robust solutions to technical problems.
Able to performance manage delivery of technical work to achieve quality, cost and schedule goals.
Team player, good communicator and works inclusively to build consensus and able to drive wise decision making in project time scales.
Able to prepare engineering design reports of the required quality within the project timescales.
Willingness to travel to witness equipment tests and system integration tests.
Willingness to work on offshore rotation during installation phase of the project.
