An opportunity has arisen for a Subject Matter Expert within the Procurement Process to join the team with our prestigious client

SPECIFIC DUTIES


* Provide expertise and knowledge on the business Procurement processes to the Procurement Transformation (ProcTx) Project Team
* The ProcTx project is charged with introducing new tools and ways of working to create a more efficient Procurement organisation across the Business
* Without the ProcTx input, business cost challenges in 2021 will not be achieved
* This role will be expected to modify/create, publish and promote the Business processes and guidance to underpin the new tools and ways of working.
* The role will need to reach a population exceeding 200 individuals across multiple functions


KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


The SME - Procurement Process is accountable for:


* Formulation of new, or modification of existing, Thales processes arising out of the transformational changes
* Creation of guidance to support users
* Publishing the new or modified processes and guidance
* Accuracy and usability of published processes and guidance
* Ensuring ready availability of published processes and guidance to target audiences
* Promoting benefits of the new processes to stakeholder groups


KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE


To be successful in role, the SME - Procurement Process will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:

* Strong communication skills, written and verbal
* Structured, logical and practical thinking

Recognising the restricted nature of the work there is a requirement for the candidate to be eligible to obtain Security Clearance for this role.
