NST Instructor -Sonar Technician
Location - Dhahran, Saudi Arabia
Basic Salary - £39,628 per annum
Overseas allowance - £8,112 per annum
Pension allowance 9% Basic Salary
Our client is the UK Government's nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Naval Forces ships and train RSNF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their ships and equipment.
The post holder will be responsible for delivering Naval Specialist Training (NST) at the Technical Institute for Naval Studies (TINS). Specifically, the post holder will be responsible for delivery of common content for all NST streams and Sonar Technician (ST) stream specific content.
The post holder is responsible for:
Delivering Naval Speciality Training curriculum (including relevant elements of Basic Skills Training), and, in particular, Sonar Technician specific elements.
Supporting remedial training activities.
Writing assessment materials.
Supporting the continuous improvement of courseware materials and media.
Writing cadet reports as required to meet customer requirements.

The post holder will ensure the completion of any other reasonable request by the NST Senior Instructor which aligns with Company business.
The post holder must:
Have a minimum of IELTS 5.0 for non-native English language speakers.
Be a graduate of an advanced military trade school or an industry equivalent.
Have experience performing the role of Sonar Technician.
Completed FACET Train the Trainer course.
You are required to have 1 year's recent instructional experience,
Have successfully completed an approved / accredited Instructional Techniques course.
