So, you will be working in London until the end of December 2018, and then you will be working in Amsterdam from January 2019 to August 2019. After you have completed the project in Amsterdam, you will then relocate back to Athens to work in the HQ.

The Software Architect will be:

  • Making decisions for the software development framework
  • Creating architectural approaches for software design and implementation to guide the development team
  • Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
  • Create the work design based on the milestones, manage timelines and delegate tasks to the team members
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers
  • Analyse and document the client's requirements
  • Participate in the implementation and development of functional and technical requirements

The successful Software Architect will have:

At least 8 years of experience in:

  • Java, J2EE
  • Maven, Eclipse, SVN, GIT
  • EJB, CDI, Web Services, SOAP, JPA, JDBC
  • JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS, JQuery
  • AngularJS, Spring, JSF

You will also have:

  • Knowledge of RDBMS, Windows & Linux Operating systems
  • Experience in the full development lifecycle of complex large scale and multi-user applications
  • Experience using agile software development methodologies (i.e. Kanban, Scrum and other lean techniques)
  • Experience in Objective Oriented Analysis & Design (OOA&D) with UML (Unified Modelling Language)
  • Knowledge in IT Service Management and/or Risk frameworks, and/or international standards

This is an opportunity for a Software Architect to work on some game changing projects, work with an excellent tech stack and to work with highly technical engineers. If you are interested, and are able to meet the travel requirements, apply now and I will be in touch shortly. Alternatively, contact Jake from Morson for more information.
