Our client is looking to recruit a site agent / site manager to work alongside one of our main clients:
The successful candidate will be an experienced individual with extensive previous experience of being a site agent or site manager ideally within a utilities environment. This position will initially be up to the end of the year with the possibility of this being extended further.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills who can demonstrate their ability to organise. The successful candidate will also be comfortable in the use of IT and programming skills using MS Project would be an advantage.
The advisory and programme delivery division delivers services to projects ranging in scale and complexity from £million's to £20bn, through the technical disciplines of programme management, project management, project controls, scheduling, cost management, estimating, infrastructure finance, management consulting, digital consulting, education and healthcare management.
Our environment and water portfolio is primarily a UK based business delivering project, programme and commercial management services to regulated water/wastewater clients and the Environment Agency. Our work stretches across the entire project lifecycle, from pre-contract cost estimating and benchmarking to post contract QS services and commercial assurance. For project and programme management we deliver capital projects on behalf of our clients, both internal and external that range from several hundred thousand pounds in value to major projects and programmes worth over £0.5billion. Additionally we are the home of the cost intelligence service, a specialist team of data analysts and economists who provide expert advice across all sectors on inflation and indexation. We currently work with around half of the UK's regulated water and wastewater companies

*Liaising with a range of project stakeholders from designers, quantity surveyors, client project managers, and client operations staff.
*Maintaining strict quality control procedures and ensuring compliance with all environmental and health & safety legislation and policies. As such, the role requires you to be conversant with current legislation.
*Managing and motivate a small team of site operatives and subcontract staff to produce a finished product of the highest standard
*Ensuring the delivery of a fast moving time sensitive project
*Relevant experience and qualification
*EUSR Utilities (Gas) preferred
*Excellent organisational communication skills
*Team player, who has the ability to self-start and work independently
*Full driving licence
*Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
*Experience in the utilities industry essential, as well as being environmentally and contractually aware
