Principal Accountabilities

* Work with the Engineering Manager to manage the fringe technical works with Network Rail, of the signalling C620 Contractor throughout the phases to commissioning and handover, ensuring works are undertaken safely to quality and to schedule
* Work with the Engineering Manager to manage the signalling C620 Contractor to ensure the fringe works with Network Rail are integrated within the clients Requirements
* Work with the Engineering Manager to manage the production of C620 works and review C620 Contractor Signalling Design deliverables and certification in accordance with the Technical Assurance Plan
* Provide technical expertise to the client signalling team on Network Rail Standards
* Prepare periodic reports on signalling works
* Take reasonable care of your own and others' health and safety and of those who may be affected in the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working to the clients Target Zero principles.
* Co-operate with the client in all matters relating to health and safety, including following safe working procedures at all times

Person Specification
* Professional qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering or an associated discipline
* Good engineering knowledge of Network Rail Signalling Standards
* Experience in design and construction signalling systems
* Knowledge of ETCS and CBTC systems an advantage
* Good communication skills
* Have a good general knowledge of railway regulations and standards
* Experience in managing D&B contracts
* Familiar with railway operational requirements
* Experience in checking Signalling Detail Design
