To produce and manufacture louvre, solar shading and acoustic installations in accordance with production drawings and schedules with attention to accurate cutting and to reduce waste and improve efficiencies wherever possible. To deliver projects on time in full ensuring all aspects of quality compliance are attended to as directed.
Principle Duties And Responsibilities:
As Quality Control/Shop Floor Operative you will report to the Production Manager
Working in accordance with the ALPS Health and Safety Documentation attached.
Checking all orders produced are correctly counted and measured to ensure quality compliance.
Processing Cutting Lists as directed and preparing them for dispatch or paint etc and operating of tools and machinery when necessary.
Ensuring that materials are cut exactly to picking schedules on a measure twice cut once basis for all materials whether they are from dispatch to customer/supplies, or returned from suppliers.
All goods received are to be put in a goods received area (yet to be sorted) and not moved until management advised.
All delivery notes to be given to management to sign for and instruction.
Check materials for damage and report to management.
Ensure that the company Health and Safety Policy is adhered to. Advise management if there are any issues. Appropriate training will be provided.
Assembly of louvres and shading equipment when necessary.
Advise management of any shortages of materials for picking lists at the earliest opportunity.
Packing materials in an appropriate form to prevent damage to goods loaded, un-loaded and whilst in transit when necessary.
Keeping warehouse clean and safe with a daily sweep at the end of the day.
Materials to be stored on racking as a policy.
Have a start a job until it is complete policy.
Advise management of any maintenance issues.
Attend any appropriate training courses that we both feel will be beneficial for you to develop your career within ALPS.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
As ALPS is a small company a flexible approach will be needed, and this may involve working with other teams or doing other tasks within ALPS.
Other areas of work may be added to the above as agreed with the Production Manager.
