Shift Maintenance Engineer - Coventry

Location: Coventry

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + 10% pension + holidays + bonus + lots of overtime+ private health care

Hours / shifts: 4 on 5 off / 5 on 4 off / 5 on 5 off - 2 days 3 nights etc
(similar to 4 on 4 off but you get 2 weekends a month off) 7am - 7pm / 7pm - 7am 12 hour shifts
50% of the month off - with holidays you are off 60% of the year

The Person:
* NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 or above in Engineering ESSENTIAL
* Multiskilled
* Various backgrounds considered: Manufacturing, Automotive, Food, Distribution Centres, Automated Warehouse, Recycling, Biomass, Packaging or Printing, Chemical Plant, Brewery, Paper, Manufacturing Plant, Electromechanical / Automated Plant.
* Health and safety focused, good awareness and a can do attitude.

Desirable:
* Drives, inverter drives, Instrumentation
* Pneumatics, robotics

The Job:
* Assist with breakdowns maintenance and reliability of electromechanical machinery, equipment and plant.
* Maintenance of various sections of the factory - PPM and fault finding
* Monitor production process & machinery performance.
* Assist with PPM & breakdown.
* Continuous improvement
* Health and safety focused.
* Able to work shifts in a 24/7 environment
* Monitor production process & machinery performance. Sensors, robotics, scanners, conveyors, packaging, sortation, labellers, fillers.
* Health and safety focused.
