Job Title: Shift Driver
Location: Knutsford
Type: Permanent
Rate of Pay: £18,136pa + £4,995pa shift allowance
Shifts: 4 Rota Shift Pattern (7am - 3pm/3pm - 11pm/11pm - 7am/10am - 6pm) Monday - Friday (40 Hours per week)

Our client is a world leader in the distribution and compounding of thermoplastics. In addition to supplying high-quality plastics from all world´s leading manufacturers and brands, they develop and manufacture their own, highly specialised technical plastics.

About the role

You will be required to supply production with feed stocks as requested and to return to the Warehouse any unused feed stocks. You will move all released finished product into the Warehouse and you will be responsible for the accuracy of the stock movements, SAP data input and 'the first in first out operation'.

You are responsible for keeping the FLT's and in an operable condition and report any breakdowns or damage. You must also keep the Warehouses and Production areas clean and tidy. You may be required to assist in training the new starters and must support the shift teams when required.

Other duties include: taking small parcels to point of delivery, re-bagging damaged bags, loading and off-loading lorries, operating Stretch Wrap machine, labelling and locating goods into the racking slots, being sure to maintain the SAP data and FIFO system accurately.

About you

Ideally you will have previous Warehouse experience with Fork Lift Counter-balance and Articulate truck certificate. You will be qualified to GCSE or equivalent level (Maths & English) and have a solid working knowledge of SAP or similar warehousing systems.
