In this role, you will be responsible for the build, test, deployment and support of all aspects of the ServiceNow instance.
Your role will include:
Providing the business with a platform that can be the basis for best practice ITSM, ITOM, and wider business functions.
Alongside the ServiceNow product owner, you will be working on a previously developed platform which is in need of review and alignment back to best practice standards, so you will need to have a good understanding of core platform functions.
Ideally you will have worked on a number of implementations with hands-on experience of AD integration, SSO, Discovery, Orchestration and be comfortable with CMDB structure using multiple provider sources. Any exposure to newer platform features would be a distinct advantage
You should also be familiar with ITIL practices and multiple disciplines of current technologies.

Main duties include development of the following systems:
o Discovery (CMDB Population)
o Workflow and Automation
o 3rd party integrations (Parsing, API, Plugin)
o Mid-server management
o AD, SSO and ADFS
o Automated Test Framework
o Agent Workspace

Support of the following:
o Resolution and escalation of ServiceNow related issues and risks.
o Proactive monitoring, maintenance and support of system performance, data, capacity and capability and recommending improvement opportunities.
o Managing upgrades, patches and system clones to the platform.
o Creating and supporting of reports and analytics which can help with identifying KPIs within the system.
o Providing technical leadership and advice on process improvement using the tool in the most efficient way.
o Training, guidance and 'Show and Tell' sessions of developed solutions.
o Creating specialist knowledge and governance documentation to support best practices and coding standards for ServiceNow.

Essential Skills:
* Good experience in ITIL practices.
* Certified ServiceNow Administration.
* Experience of London & Madrid and above versions of the platform.
* Able to demonstrate knowledge of the platform mechanics and best practices
* Knowledge of CMDB.
* Knowledge of ITOM, Jelly, Angular and other web technologies.
* HTML, XHTML, XML, CSS, AJAX, MySQL & JSON
* JavaScript development - independent of and within the ServiceNow framework.
* Strong teamwork, self-managing and self-initiative, coaching, collaboration & communication skills.
* Exposure to Agile working methods
