Title: Service Delivery Technician
Duration: 3 months contract
Location: Swindon, UK
Rate: £18/hr - £20hr
*Primary Project will be the transfer from Windows 7 to Windows 10 (approximately 300 Users) initially
*Endpoint (Windows PC) Support
*Handles problems that the first-tier of Service desk is unable to resolve.
*May interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem.
*Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems. Maintains currency and highest level of technical skill in field of expertise.
*Using Corporate & IT Ticketing System. (ServiceNow)
*Understanding of ITIL best practices
*Have excellent communication skills
*Requirement of Manual Handling assistance to relocate computer hardware.
*On occasions this may include repetitive lift and moving of computer deliveries.
*Does system administration.
Educational Professional Qualifications Required
*Technical Training or Technical Degree or equivalent experience.
*5 to 10 years' experience preferred.
*Experience of using IT Ticketing System, preferably Service Now, Migrating users from Windows
