To take responsibility for the Service delivery for the programme. Work closely with third parties to ensure the proposed solution for services and any deliverables are managed on behalf of the client.
To provide the strategic alignment, completeness and consistency of the Service requirements and proposed solutions.
Working closely with third parties and the Business to define and implement the required IT services to support the business.
Support and provide input into the work packages relating to Service Management.
Work with Business and Rh to agree the overall business requirements and assuring the proposed solutions meets those requirements.
Agree with the business and third parties the required SLAs required for the related IT services.
Ensure service related issues are managed through to an acceptable conclusion.
Support and input into the Target Operating Model for service management.
Act as the key liaison between IT and the business for the monitoring and delivery of IT services to support the business.

1. Single point of authority for Service management
2. Work with 3rd parties in relation to work packages relating to Service delivery
3. Assurance and approval for solutions of service management for the ES programme
4. Owns resolution of escalated Service related issue
5. Provides input on Service strategy, definition, management and implementation of plans.
6. Manage the service delivery and management team.

• Ensure Service management solutions being proposed for the programme are fit for purpose meeting related business and regulatory requirements
• Maintain a good understanding of IT Service requirements relevant to the programme
• Work with the Business to ensure the solution and design meets the Service outcomes being prosed by the clients.
• Define appropriate monitoring and reporting required for the various services being defined and manged by IT.
• Ensure ES requirements are fully reflected in work packages relating to service delivery
• Ensure the plans for the delivery of Service management is fit for purpose.
• Provide challenge into the design and delivery process in regard to detailed Design and solution.
• Act as overall Service management authority on behalf of the client.
• Attend the Technical Design authority and follow the governance associated with it.
• Provide sign off on key service related documentation and design on behalf of the client
• Manage the day by day activity of the Service delivery an management workstream
• Act as key liaison of IT services between Business and third party suppliers
• Monitor service levels and SLAs across all IT service provision
• Examine and instigate process improvements to defined services where required
• Ensuring key KPIs for IT service are met and managed
• Ensure RH service support is integrated into the service model
• Manage service issues through from identification through to resolution
• Manage third party service providers
