Working Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Mon - Thur / 8:00am - 3:30pm Fri
About the role
Our Site Managers (SM) need to be able to demonstrate experience in delivering construction projects of over £10m in value as part of an on-site team, reporting to the Project Manager and managing the sub-contractors for the SM's designated sections of work. The SM will be responsible for the delivery on time, defect free and to budget of their designated sections of work. Youll be holding, attending and chairing sub-contract meetings for their designated sections of work and producing internal reports to the Project Manager.
What you'll be doing
Based on site, working as part of a team you'll be responsible for managing the works on site to ensure the project is completed safely, profitably and on time. The Site Manager will communicate with the sub-contractors ensuring project requirements are met, review site wastage, and review and manage H&S procedures. Administrative assistance will be provided to the Site Manager.
Who we're looking for
Ideally you will have experience of working at a Senior Site Manager level with specific experience of external façades, with strong time management skills and strong negotiation skills. The role is working for our Student Accommodation Division so experience of large, high rise projects is advantageous.
If you are able to demonstrate good managerial skills will have the opportunity to progress to Project Manager Level.
