We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager/Development Manager based in London

The ideal candidate will have :
* In-depth knowledge and understanding of housing development for local authorities in a consultancy environment across all elements of the development process from strategy to project completion
* Demonstrable understanding of the legal and operational requirements of local authority housing development and delivery including different delivery solutions
* Experience of managing complex procurement processes and the commercial negotiations to delivery successful development and construction projects
* Numerate and able to analyse and create multi-phase project cash flows and feasibilities
* Personal presence and confidence to lead a multi-disciplinary design team and be able to advise the Council at a senior management level
* Experience of managing multi-sector staff and getting the best out of them to deliver outstanding project solutions
* Full driving licence (travel will be required across)
* Existing local authority client networks across London and the South East
Desirable:
* Existing developer and contractor contacts
* Experience of operating Argus Developer appraisal software and development cashflow analysis.
* Understanding of sustainability issues, particularly zero carbon in residential development
* Experience of working for local authority owned arms' length companies
* Practical delivery of modular housing and modern methods of construction
Qualifications:
* MRICS status or equivalent project management professional qualification
* A Degree in Property Development or Project Management related Discipline
