My telecommunication client is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team in either Bristol or Warwick.
You will need to manage the business and operational processes and systems to support the project management, planning, design and delivery functions within the workstreams. This will include interfacing with the client, other contractors and the various operational teams to ensure we deliver against a fully intergrated plan with the flexibility to meet the project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure the smooth delivery of relevant work stream to the client,
Drive a culture focused on nuclear safety and quality
Lead the work stream team, setting standards, identifying specific roles and responsibilities and identifying the required levels of training, qualifications and experience to meet SQEP requirements
Develop internal and external relationships needed to make the project a success
Manage all aspects of the work stream including logistics, resource, planning and finance, taking ownership of the key project milestones and objectives
Follow the agreed governance, monitoring and reporting processes
Manage the financial performance and reporting of all work stream deliverables
Report work stream performance, highlighting and managing all risks & issues and their mitigations throughout the project life cycle.
Manage change within the work stream in line with the NEC3 contract requirements.
Produce standard project documentation, maintaining rigorous adherence to the documentation and storage requirements for Teamcenter.
Proactively support the wider aims of the project and other related activities
Drive continuous improvement

Typical Deliverables
Produce monthly work stream reports demonstrating internal performance measures on nuclear safety, quality and delivery
Manage the end-end delivery, risk and change processes
Implement initiatives within the work stream to continually improve the performance, quality of delivery and our focus on nuclear safety.
Maintain a risk and opportunity register highlighting areas for concern and growth.
Produce standard workstream governance and review documentation
Lead the team to achieve milestones and objectives
Develop training and developments plans for team members

Business Operational Experience
Demonstrable success leading telecommunications and/or capital works projects with high technology content in a safety or mission critical environment, and involving contractual frameworks such as NEC3.
Knowledge of working in a highly regulated and safety critical environment, such as nuclear
Knowledge of working in the construction sector, including safety and environmental requirements and how these are applied, monitored and improved.
Excellent Client facing skills, comfortable engaging at senior levels within their organisation
Experience of managing multiple stakeholders and building strong relationships with the Client and Suppliers to meet the programme objectives will be essential for this role.
Strong and proven ability to work under pressure
Excellent influencing and negotiating skills
Excellent financial and commercial awareness
Experience of delivery in the nuclear sector would be an advantage
Excellent understanding of risk and issue management and mitigation strategies.
Is recognised as an expert within own workstream disciplines.
Experience in managing a team of project managers

Business Operational Qualifications
Prince 2 qualified to Practitioner level or similar industry recognised discipline
Degree or equivalent in an appropriate discipline
