Are you a well-versed, ambitious Marketing and Communications Executive looking for a new challenge? If so this is the role for you!

St. Modwen Logistics develops and manages urban and big box warehouses for customers including global logistics and e-commerce organisations as well as significant national and regional enterprises. Aiming to deliver c. 1.5m sq ft of new warehouse space during 2021 and, with one of the UK’s largest pipelines at c. 19m sq ft, they have an achievable vision to grow the logistics portfolio to over £1bn by 2023.

The Purpose

Our Senior Marketing and Communications Executive will play a pivotal role, supporting St. Modwen Logistics to create and deliver an effective marketing plan. Using your experience to bring our logistics story to life!

The Person

We are looking for an experienced and creative individual, someone who’s naturally curious and customer obsessed allowing them to really get under the skin of logistics! We want a storyteller, so being able to keep your finger on the plus with both the business and external stakeholders is essential!

Once in role you’ll manage production of signage & brochures, create content and liaise with external stakeholders to coordinate marketing/communications materials.

Required Experience

• Able to manage and prioritise multiple work streams
• Excellent at building relationships and flexible in the management of multiple stakeholders
• Capable of managing multiple projects, events and project budgets
• Able to write / review strong and persuasive materials
• Understanding of content management e.g. Wordpress, HTML emailers
• Microsoft packages, especially, Word, Powerpoint, Excel
• Working knowledge of CRM systems, Microsoft Dynamics
• Good working knowledge and application of social and digital activities and how to blend into a campaign, project or initiative

Key Accountabilities

• Event organisation and management, including scheme or unit launches
• Manage event budgets
• Working with Group Digital Executive to develop social media and digital campaigns to raise awareness of our brand and properties
• Oversight and management of film and graphics production to support digital engagement
• Website updating, working with the Logistics team assistants as required
• Monitor competitor marketing initiatives materials and tools
• Develop network inside the business units and across St. Modwen
• Work effectively with external contacts to manage relationships and expectations
