Senior Maintenance Technician - Kegworth

Location: Derby / Kegworth

Annual earnings: £44,000 - £46,000 per annum + sign on fee of up to £4,000 + Inflated overtime rates + 10% pension + 20 days holiday + Annual bonus + lots of overtime + private health care

Hours / shifts: 4 on 4 off (Days and nights) followed by 5 on 5 off (Days and Nights)

2 Weekends off a month guaranteed

7am - 7pm / 7pm - 7am

The Person:

  • NVQ Level 3 / ONC or above in Engineering - ESSENTIAL

  • Mechanical, Electrical or Multiskilled
  • Experience of multi-contractor management
  • Various backgrounds considered: Manufacturing, Automotive, Ex Forces, Food, Distribution Centers, Automated Warehouse, Recycling, Biomass, Packaging or Printing, Chemical Plant, Brewery, Paper, Manufacturing Plant, Electromechanical / Automated Plant.
  • Health and safety focused, good awareness and a can do attitude
  • Demonstrate ability to manage, lead, and influence others on the team

DESIRABLE; (training provided on these if not)

  • HNC, HND, BSc, BEng
  • Drives, inverter drives, Instrumentation
  • Pneumatic, robotics
  • Six Sigma qualification

The Job:

  • Assist with breakdowns maintenance and reliability of electromechanical machinery, equipment and plant.
  • Maintenance of various sections of the factory - PPM and fault finding
  • Monitor production process & machinery performance.
  • Assist with PPM & breakdown.
  • Health and safety focused.
  • Able to work shifts in a 24/7 environment
