We are looking for an experienced ISP architect to join our clients Chip Design development team in Sophia Antipolis. The work will mainly include:

*Monitor research and industry be aware of the state of the art and present information to peers
*Analyze customer needs and define domain requirements
*Proof of concept implementation
*Define the architecture of complex sub-modules of multi-media hardware accelerators
*Closely work with algorithm engineers to find an optimal tradeoff between accuracy and cost/power
*Benchmark proposed solution against state of the art
*Deliver domain specifications and drive junior architects & implementation
*Ensure a competitive solution in terms of performance, silicon area and power consumption
*Define the domain roadmap

The candidate will work closely with imaging algorithm researchers, RTL designers, DV engineers as well as other hardware and software architects.

Requirements
*Education: Relevant engineering degree or PhD
*3+ years professional experience in image processing, camera systems or picture quality evaluation aware of the state of the art
*2+ years professional experience in RTL design / hardware architecture
*Proven experience in hardware IP architecture, low power / area RTL design techniques, camera algorithm development, picture quality evaluation, algorithm implementation and optimization
*Able to create high quality specifications
*Solid understanding of image signal processing (ISP) pipeline and mobile image sensors
*Strong programming experience
*Familiar with picture manipulation and quality measurement tools
*Fluent French and English, Chinese is a plus
*C/C++, Verilog, linux scripting, FPGA prototyping
*Knowledge in computer vision is a plus
