Senior HR Advisor: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract: Cheshire based with travel required to Manchester: Paying up to £40,000 + Benefits

Morson are currently supporting our manufacturing client in their search for an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join the organisation in a stand-alone, generalist capacity. The Senior HR Advisor will work with senior stakeholders across the business to deliver vital HR Integration activities for a recent acquisition. This includes the launch of a new HR System (Workday), introduction of HR processes, management training on policy and procedure, transfer of payroll as well as providing support in all areas of HR: employee relations, change management, engagement, workforce administration, vendor management and benefits administration.

Further duties will include:

  • Working with the HR Business Partner to ensure the successful delivery of the Integration, keeping multiple activities running simultaneously and efficiently
  • Working with other areas of the business such as Payroll, HR Systems, Compensation & Benefits to successfully integrate all key HR processes
  • Providing HR advice on front line queries and supporting managers with HR related administration
  • Analysing HR data and providing reports for decision making and strategy development
  • Supporting on HR related projects
  • Supporting the implementation of the people related changes
  • Management of vendor relationships related to outsourced HR service delivery

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you are a strong, CIPD qualified HR generalist, with experience preferably gained from within a commercial and fast-paced environment as well as the below:

  • Sound knowledge of UK Employment Law
  • Knowledge of Workday would be highly desirable
  • Experience of working with third party suppliers to deliver against objectives
  • Qualified to CIPD Level 7 or relevant professional experience
  • HR Project Experience - in specific experience in TUPE transfers, supporting or leading collective consultation programmes and harmonisation of benefits, policies and procedures.
  • A strong influencer with the ability to constructively challenge as appropriate
  • Ability to build effectively relationships with all levels
