Senior HR Advisor - Talent: Permanent: Birmingham based (with remote working available): Paying £30,000 - £33,000 + Benefits

Morson are currently working with our government-owned client to support them in their search for a strong Senior HR Advisor who will design and deliver talent solutions across the business. The Senior HR Advisor will be responsible for designing talent solutions that are focused on attracting, retaining and developing talent across specific talent programmes, as well as the following:

  • Supporting employees and line managers with the talent process. Being the point of contact for queries and escalations, working to resolve them as appropriate
  • Managing talent programmes on a day to day basis being the subject matter expert in your area
  • Managing multiple projects across the talent space including the design and implementation stages
  • Working with 3rd party suppliers on the delivery on talent initiatives, managing suppliers on a day to day basis to ensure delivery against KPI's
  • Continually looking for ways to improve and implement process's working across HR for the effective implementation
  • Developing internal and external communications and guidance to support the talent strategy
  • Ensuring data integrity, keeping all data sources up to date. Identifying any issues with data, seeking to correct errors.
  • Managing reporting, designing new reports in collaboration with other areas of HR and ensuring reports are timely and accurate.
  • Measuring the effectiveness of talent programmes/initiatives and suggest improvements
  • Working with external organisations to promote talent programmes including organising events, work experience and secondment opportunities
  • Promoting equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) within talent programmes, identifying trends and ways to improve EDI in talent

To be considered for this opportunity it is essential that you have previous experience in managing talent programmes at all levels ideally gained from within a talent role, as well as the below skills and attributes:

  • Experience of working with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience of managing suppliers
  • In depth knowledge of at least one area of talent (graduates, apprenticeships, talent management or work experience)
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with customers within the business and with external stakeholders
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise critical items
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • High degree of attention to detail
