Senior Franchise Liaison Manager

Role overview
Keolis Amey Docklands (KAD) is the operator and maintainer for the Docklands Light Railway (DLR), serving 120 million customers in the east London and Docklands area.
KAD projects department is seeking a person to act as liaison manager between KAD, DLR and 3rd party contractors.

The key responsibilities of the role will include:

 Managing a small team of staff and contractors
 Following and applying the working to the railway processes (WoRM, BCP03 Assurance) to ensure the safety and performance of the railway is protected during the planning and execution of works
 Timely processing of documentation for access to the railway for DLR projects though engaging with colleagues in operations, engineering and safety
 Fulfilling obligations under the Franchise Agreement
 Managing resource requests
 Monitoring activity on third party construction sites

The ideal person will have experience managing construction or projects in a railway environment either as a client or contractor representative and be familiar with safety and performance requirements of working on or next to a railway.
The role is predominately based in the offices at Poplar Depot during normal office hours. There may be some travel to sites around the railway and unsocial hours depending on the requirements of each project.
