My client is currently looking for a Senior Data Manager / Senior Data Scientist to be responsible for managing a project team to deliver the analysis, planning, research and recommendations required for business planning and monitoring.

You will:

Contribute to the development of strategy and operational plans for the organisation by identifying opportunities and risks and recommending suitable solutions.

Lead a team to deliver analysis, forecasting and reporting activities for a CFU or function, providing expert technical advice.

Establishes robust and consistent analysis and reporting processes across the CFU, integrating with performance reporting practices and scorecards and ensuring appropriate application. Tracks and reports on CFU performance against scorecard metrics, identifying strategic and operational threats and recommending suitable solutions.

Delivers the CFU elements of approved plans and strategies, implementing business planning processes and plan review cycles.

Builds a strategic network across the function, inputting to management information and decision making, communicating reports and variances, and working closely with business managers to ensure integration and alignment.

Identifies, implements and reviews large-scale opportunities for the standardisation, simplification and efficiency of analysis and reporting processes.

You will have:

7-10 years' experience as a leader within the analytics and intelligence function, with strong leadership skills and have the ability to lead, and deliver through high performance teams

Extensive experiences in analytics and intelligence areas, able to lead and develop both processes and people

Strong ability to draw recommendations from value-added analytics to enable effective decision making across procurement functions, with advanced experience in visualisation and simulations tools

Ability to understand the linkage between data and the underpinning processes/information flows that move data across the business

Experience in working in an agile environment
