£39.51 PAYE / £52.70 Umbrella per hour
Key Role Description:
The Senior Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for undertaking mechanical testing activities on board nuclear
submarines, the individual will have gained understanding of the different test sections, T&C processes and will have supported T&C/the business
by working on Key Events.
To carry out routine work with limited supervision & have an understanding of safety consequences in a high risk environment.
Liaise/Interface with relevant stakeholders to ensure activities are undertaken in a safe & compliant manner.
Instruct & mentor less experiences members of the team within your knowledge & competency.
Responsible for research, review & feedback of appropriate documentation to the required standard.
Keep full and accurate records of work activities carried out as required by policy, procedure & legislation.
Accountable for your own actions.
Responsible for self-development and attending any mandatory training requirements.
To represent the Company on Contractors Sea Trials and other outworking requirements.
Responsible for delivering assigned activities in line with Company policy, procedures and legislation.
Demonstrates and awareness of product knowledge. At all times to be conversant with the Quality and SHE controls and measures.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
HNC/HND or equivalent experience, the ability to use Microsoft Office programmes & Company Specific
software such as SAP, Windchill, DIPS, SPICE, PTI Database
