As a Security Vetting Support Administrator you will be required to carry out essential areas of pre-employment screening for candidates seeking employment in a multi-national List X defence company.
The role will be an administrative role requiring you to carry out referencing checks on all candidates - both in terms of employment history and personal background checks.
This will involve discussions with external companies and hastening non-replies in a timely way so as not to unnecessarily impede our own recruitment drive.
In addition, you will be required to verify other information in application packs to ensure that a robust and fair programme of employment screening is in place that detects anomalies, prioritises critical applications and takes candidates through the on-boarding process as seamlessly as possible.
Some collaboration is required with external service providers and a close-working relationship with internal HR Advisors will be required.
Working Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm
The primary function of this role is to be administrative. Organisational skills are the most important thing and a strong attention to detail. Knowledge of pre-employment screening is highly desirable. Experience in a similar environment would be advantageous but not essential.
