Role & Responsibilities:
Network Consulting Engineer will provide consulting services including Security Optimization Subscription, Security Design Assessment, Security Design / Configuration Reviews, and Cisco Security product implementations. This resource will need to work close with customer and SIA
*Responsible for finalization and delivery of reports for each consulting engagement.
*Discovery Workshop, Platform Health, check, Platform optimization, Knowledge Transfer.
*Prepare and deliver formal presentations for senior (C-Level) executives
*Develop and maintain software tools to enhance Cisco consulting services
*Contribute directly to Cisco's knowledge management initiatives by documenting and briefing other Cisco security consultants on lessons learned from engagements and by developing new methodologies for delivering services.
*Position requires BS in technical field or equivalent experience.
*CCNP Security, CCIE is a plus
*Minimum of 4-6 years' experience in systems/network security administration
*Experience designing, implementing and troubleshooting network security for enterprise customers (preferably within a service providers and big enterprise environments)
*Extensive experience in security configuration of network and security devices in a loge enterprise environment (routers, switches, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems)
*Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting the following Cisco security technologies: ISE, FirePower (SourceFire), ASA, CSM, VPN, ESA, WSA and Umbrella
*Detailed troubleshooting of TCP/IP protocols and detailed understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, RIP, EIGRP, BGP) and layer2 protocols and technologies.
*Expert level knowledge in network security design, architecture and implementation.
*In-depth knowledge of systems and network security
