Scheduling Supervisor

I am supporting my Leading well-known client with the recruitment of a Scheduling Supervisor. The role is to supervise a team of resource schedulers to deliver accurate, timely and cost-effective resource deployment plans to the operation.

The jobholder will focus on issues such as -

* Delegation of daily activities
* Design of daily work plans
* Overtime requirements
* Absence back fills
* Process and policy adherence
* Collation of reports
* Continuous improvement initiatives

As a Resource Scheduling Supervisor, you will ensure the Resource Scheduling department is run efficiently and in delivered in a way which proactively improves performance and the stakeholder experience. This role will develop, lead and support Resource Scheduling colleagues to drive engagement. You will supervise a team of 15 resource schedulers with day to day oversight of operational resource plans for all operational areas and provide daily and weekly reporting against targets

Duties of the role include;

* Delivery of optimally staffed resource plans across all operational areas
* Compliance with both legislative and local rules and guidelines
* Supervision of resource team including auditing tasks completed
* Continuous Improvement delivery plans
* Operational staffing levels whilst meeting budgetary targets
* Current operational performance effect against staffing levels
* Time management and work prioritisation to deliver across all depots
* Supervising a team of staff working in different business areas with different resourcing demands and profiles

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

* IT systems proficient - particularly Excel
* Supervisory Experience
* Scheduling Knowledge
* Ability to analyse and interpret data
* Ability to work collaboratively
* Ownership of work tasks and ability to make timely decisions
* Passion for working in a customer facing environment
