Sales Ledger Controller; Based in Cambridge:
3 month contract;

A vacancy exists for a temporary sales ledger clerk, to be based at our client's site based in Cambridge.
Primary Purpose of the Role:
To ensure that cashflows are maintained to expected rates
To ensure credit risk is mitigated through use of given tool sets and available sources of information
To ensure that all deviations from expected cashflows are highlighted at the earliest possible point to facilitate an efficient resolution
Key Tasks
Customer credit checking and set-up
Customer account review and maintenance
Dispute resolution
Cash collection and allocation
Invoicing of customers
Credit note process and resolution
Foreign Tax (WHT)
Cash forecasting
Sales ledger reporting
Inter company recharging
Credit insurance
Balance sheet reconciliations
Essential skills and experience
Qualified AAT or equivalent
Degree level or equivalent qualification
Previous Accounting Experience in a similar role
Experience of Accounting within a fast-paced transactional business
Board level reporting and analysis
Good Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent time management skills
Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
A detailed and methodical approach to tasks
Due to the nature of our client's business candidates should be eligible to gain MOD SC clearance.
