Resourcing Manager; Location Crawley;9-month Contract; £194 per day PAYE.
We are looking for a temporary Resource Manager to be based at our client's site in Crawley.
The Resourcing Manager will sit in the Resourcing COE with ultimate accountability for ensuring that they have the right people, in the right place, at the right time to execute their strategy. The role will focus at a strategic level and the job holder will act as a single point of contact for all resourcing delivery within the CBU, covering Professional, Contingent, Graduate, Intern, Apprentice and Executive hiring, ensuring the right hiring decisions are made for the right reasons.
The Resourcing Manager will define the resourcing strategy for the CBU accountable for delivering it, driving continuous improvement in key performance indicators. The Resourcing Manager will also deliver a number of business-critical requisitions.
Act as a champion for Integrated Resourcing Strategy, including influencing key stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to adopt new processes etc.
Provide "thought leadership", strategic advice, coaching, mentoring and guidance to key stakeholders on all areas of Resourcing activity

Resource Planning
Work in collaboration with HR Directors and Heads of Talent to create and maintain strategic workforce plans
Present analysis of key headcount trending, Professional, Contingent, Graduate, Intern, Apprentice and Executive Resourcing and external market data at IBP meetings to inform Resourcing decisions
Provide market data and analysis to support annual long- and medium-term strategic business planning processes
Collaborate with Heads of Talent to achieve internal mobility targets, and champion internal mobility through People Review etc
Professional, Contingent, Graduate, Intern, Apprentice and Executive Resourcing
Ultimately accountable for ensuring the delivery of output metrics covering: new hire attrition rates etc.
Personally, own the full resourcing lifecycle for assigned CBU
Own the delivery of all resourcing across the assigned CBU
Deliver a small number of senior positions
Work collaboratively with the Sourcing Team to ensure they are fully briefed on requirements; validate and respond to long listed candidates promptly and fully
Own the Hiring Manager relationship, coaching them through the head-hunting process,
Personally, assess candidates' competence, cultural fit and motivation, and present robust shortlists with an appropriate mix of Internal, external, active and passive candidates
Ensure CBU is acquiring non-permanent resource at the optimal quality, cost, time and risk, in line with UK make /Team/ buy strategy
Own CBU quarterly contractor reviews
Own the delivery of high-quality contingent resourcing within the assigned CBU, managing Contingent MSP, personally managing delivery against senior / strategic roles and delegating other roles to be managed by the Resourcing Business Partners as appropriate
Own the delivery of end to end resourcing processes for Graduate, Intern, Apprentice and A-Level hiring for assigned CBU
Promote best practice selection
Champion compliance with company policies a

Talent Management
Ensure that talent processes, tools and systems to support the identification and mobilisation of those individuals on succession plans or identified as high potential are understood and communicated, and use that info proactively for internal hires
Build and maintain awareness of CBU and Function future needs in strategic business plans / technical strategy plans that are relevant to talent and succession planning, and ensure alignment in relevant Resourcing decisions & processes
Ensure that the sourcing strategies in assigned CBU and Function (s) are fully aligned to the UK People Plan and Talent Management Plan
Provide external market intelligence to support future talent planning.

Able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of current organisation's core business, organisation, strategic direction, challenges and aspirations, and articulate how Resourcing can input and add value to these within assigned perimeter
Lead, model, manage and coach the organisation in best practice selection techniques
Personal powers of resilience and tenacity; takes personal responsibility for resolving performance issues before they impact on the business; consistently sees things through to completion
