Relief Team Leader - EI / CE Technician - Northwich - Permanent Position.

We are looking to recruit a dual skilled Technician who will be the relief for the Team Leader at our Middlewich site, the home of British Salt. The Control Electrical team provide engineering support within the Chemical process area which includes both reactive and preventative maintenance, repairs and overhauls. This is a day based role 7.30am to 3.30pm. The team provide on call cover on rotation for out of hours reactive maintenance, for which an allowance and overtime is paid.

Technical skills: Our ideal candidate will be time served with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in a control or electrical discipline and have worked within a chemical or industrial work environment, be trained to BS7671 (17th edition) and EAWR 1989 and possess knowledge and experience of a wide range of industrial control and electrical equipment / systems.

Leadership: Ideally you will have experience of managing people and handling conflicting priorities.

The Relief Team Leader role is the start of the development path in the Control Electrical team and therefore this role will appeal to applicants who have a desire to progress their career further, into a management role.
