The Rectification Maintenance Manager holds the relevant delegated maintenance authority for their areas of responsibility.
They are responsible to the Deputy Head of Aircraft Maintenance for all aspects of the products and/or services they deliver and for adherence to the maintenance programme.
They are responsible for the leadership, management and co-ordination of all areas and people under their control.
The Rectification Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
May hold a Letter of Delegation from the Head of Aircraft Maintenance detailing accountabilities and responsibilities for the delivery of the Maintenance Service in accordance with the Maintenance Organisations Exposition, the associated procedures and the platforms approved data set
Deliver an Organisation that is capable of On & Off A/C rectification of the Hawk Aircraft to meet the constricted KPI's.
Ensure that all tasked maintenance has been properly carried out in accordance with the Statement of Work, using the AMC documentation set as defined within the current Maintenance Organisation Exposition using the latest approved technical information.
Will hold accountability for the service delivery to the Head of Aircraft Maintenance in accordance with the Maintenance Plan. Responsible for schedule adherence, to the Maintenance plan. Progress reporting against delivery targets to the Head of Aircraft Maintenance
Accountable for discharging the governance across the organisation that is required to ensure compliance with the Maintenance Organisations Exposition and associated AMC's. Assess and report on any non-compliances and the impact to the wider programme to the Head of Aircraft Maintenance.
Accountable for the shift and resource plans to ensure agreed delivery targets can be accomplished within the requirements of the regulatory framework by ensuring staff are sufficiently competent and approved for the maintenance tasks allocated to them within the shift plan.
Provides leadership and direction to team members, including Executives, through a formal assessment processes, demonstrating sound and comprehensive communication and people management skills. Grant task authorisations for working on an aircraft or components in accordance with AMC requirements. Accountable to ensure that currency and recency records are maintained, capturing experience and all technical training of maintenance personnel.
Managing the impact of the maintenance activity on the Service Safety Hazard.
Accountable for the provision of appropriate facilities, including Hanger, Workshop, Office and Storage areas.
Responsible for ensuring that the Head of Aircraft Maintenance is informed of any condition of an aircraft or aircraft component which could create a flight safety hazard
Responsible for notifying the Part 145 Regulatory Approval Manager of any changes required to the Exposition.
Responsible for carrying out Certifying and Support staff interviews to ensure staff are competent to hold authorities and if content signing off their applications.
