Recruitment Advisor; Location: Luton; 12 Months; 37 hours per week; £26.54 ph. LTD.
We are recruiting a Recruitment Advisor to be based at our client's site based in Luton.
The main purpose of the role is to provide a full lifecycle recruitment service in accordance with best HR Practice, for all levels and disciplines of staff in accordance with current employment legislation and business requirements.
Key responsibility areas
Provide comprehensive support and advice for Managers on recruitment processes and current terms and conditions.
Efficiently and effectively source, assess and select superior candidates via established role profiles/specifications. Facilitate the negotiation of offers through to acceptance stage, within established compensation parameters ensuring "candidate care" is uppermost.
Coach and advise managers on the best assessment and selection processes so we can assess candidates using structured interviewing and valid testing methodologies as appropriate.
Ensure that effective Recruitment services are delivered through outsourced provider, ensuring all pre-employment obligations are completed and the candidate is ready for hire.
Maintain contact with candidates through to commencement of employment, including the development and delivery of induction, ensuring all processes are completed in time/against service provision
Attend Business Resource meetings and local HR Reviews as required
Support specific recruitment campaigns as required by the business, including drafting of external advertising.
Responsible for utilising the prescribed systems to document requisition and candidate (sub contract) activity/data and producing ad hoc reports for the business in respect of number of candidates/interviews, costs of recruitment and success or otherwise of recruitment sources
Skills, qualifications & knowledge
First class communication, interpersonal and organisational skills demonstrable at all levels, is essential, enabling you to build rapport quickly and establish good working relationships with both internal and external customer base.
The working environment is demanding and requires good organisational, time and planning skills.
Extensive experience of recruitment at all levels, preferably within the defence/aerospace industry, engineering and/or manufacturing environment.
The ability to work independently, showing initiative and being resourceful, whilst reporting into the Head of Human Resources.
Excellent skills in time, task and priority management, as well as interviewing and selection (including effective pre-screening).
Possess strong consultative skills and a proactive approach to solving customer needs, able to demonstrate an understanding of the role recruiting plays in driving organisational effectiveness.
Knowledge of traditional and non-traditional recruiting methods and the ability to utilise multiple sourcing techniques.
Able to demonstrate up to date employment law knowledge administered within a practical operational environment.

The successful candidate will be required to gain MOD SC clearance and please note that the rate shown is a limited rate
