Job Description

Construction Manager – MEP

An excellent opportunity has arisen to work MEP renewals taking place at Liverpool Street station. As part of the Networks rail improvement programme you will be part of an award winning project at its delivery stage.

The role:

  • Good knowledge of HV/LV
  • Experience working for a principle contractor to Network rail
  • Detailed understanding of MEP Engineering
  • Experience of working within Rail Infrastructure project
  • Experience of working with operational station / railway
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detailed knowledge of Construction Design & Management (CDM) Regulations 2015
  • General knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental Regulations
  • Microsoft outlook, excel and word competent


  • Responsible for control and monitoring of MEP works in the operational station, ensuring that the works are co-ordinated and that any risks to the operational station are escalated.
  • Collaborative working with the operational station to ensure they are aware and comfortable with project works.
  • Responsible for the production of Daily Diaries in the Salesforce system covering the following; Accidents / Incidents, Emergency works, Close Calls, Time to Talks, Compliance Checks, Permit Checks and assurance.
  • Continuous improvement of the permit office and related isolation processes.

The role is based in Stratford and Liverpool street and offers the opportunity for a year’s contract. Working in a diverse team of professionals in the rail sector the position will likely lead to further work on other Major projects.
