Job Purpose | |
To conduct product and process inspection to obtain and record proof of compliance to drawing and process requirements. Identify and record non-compliance to these requirements, lead, implement contain and create corrective actions to ensure that all supplied and delivered parts conform to their specification. To implement the quality policy and objectives within Safran, with particular focus on the reduction of the cost of non-quality and the reduction of internal and external concessions through the application of the appropriate quality tools. | |

QUALITY Playing your part

Auditing of hand tooling and calibration status of measurement equipment In your areas of responsibility. Conduct inspection operations as and when requested. Product buy-off and release process including spares release on Despatch deck and Goods inwards inspection when required. Development and implementation of quality sampling schemes, recording and analysis of data.
Reporting of defects via QNs, taking ownership of the defect to its resolution.
Carry out BBG0036 and process supplier/ customer returns when required Produce strip reports on Externally supplied parts coming back from our customers |
