Our client based in Kings Norton are looking for a Quality professional on a 12 month fixed contract. The hourly rate is negotiable. Some International travel will be required.
As part of the Projects team supporting the transfer of aircraft programs to a new low cost manufacturing site, the Quality Compliance Representative is responsible for monitoring the quality of the products through each stage of the product's creation. In addition to upholding the quality standards, the Quality Compliance Representative must also monitor adherence to product quality requirements as set by regulatory authorities, customers and statute.
Plans and directs activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products: Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation, utilising knowledge in engineering fields such as chemical, electrical, or mechanical.
Establishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities.
Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility.
Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities.
May specialise in areas of quality control engineering, such as design, incoming material, process control, product evaluation, product reliability, inventory control, metrology, automated testing, software, research and development, and administrative application.
Supporting, monitoring and auditing the site quality management system and involvement in customer/supplier quality requirements as appropriate.
