Project Support Administrator - Blackburn - 6 Months +

Goals and Objectives:
The role will provide support to the Project Managers based on site and the rest of the projects department.

The position will be key to the smooth running of the department, requiring a good eye for detail, good communication skills at all levels, a clear telephone manner, and the ability to work under pressure. Attention to detail and accuracy is essential for the success of the position.

The ideal candidate will be eager and committed to work hard supporting the project team, a quick learner, will take responsibility for own workload, maintain a culture of commitment and will be an excellent team player.

* Procurement of the Tier 2 Projects and a select few high-end customers.
* Gaining Supplier quotes to achieve cost saving on projects.
* Completing the RAM's for Tier 2 Projects.
* Health and Safety Documentation for Tier 2 Projects.
* Liaising at all levels with Engineering teams
* Booking hotels
* Arranging site deliveries.
* Arranging plant hire and off hire.
* Assist in the creation of Technical Submittals when required.
* Creation of O&M Documentation.
* Raising permits.
* Uploading documents to Customer information portals.
* Administration duties requested by the Project Manager within reason.
* Phone and office cover.
* Understanding of buying packages.
* Understanding of the construction terminology i.e. base build, fit out.
* Ensure adherence to all Company Policies and Procedures.
* Be fully conversant and compliant with all Environmental Health and Safety procedures.
* Complete quarterly ethics module as advised by Ethics & Compliance Officer (ECO).
* Fully comply with all Quality, Environmental Health and Safety directives including but not limited to PPE, Accident Reporting, Cardinal Rules, Risk Assessment Method Statement (RAMS), and Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE).

Qualifications/ Experience/ Knowledge:
* Intermediate level skills Microsoft packages.
* Ability to work under pressured.
* Ability to work with a growing engineering and project support team.
