    Tata Chemicals

At Tata Chemicals Europe, we have a small department who are critical in planning and executing the investment projects in our business.

We are currently looking for a Planning Engineer who will join that multi-disciplinary team responsible for delivery of £75m investment into a number of strategic energy and new build facilities over the next few years including the First Industrial Carbon Capture and Utilisation Plant in the UK.

The Planning Engineer will be responsible for project planning, critical path analysis, progress monitoring and supporting cost monitoring to ensure that these critical projects are delivered to time and cost.

What are we looking for:

A graduate, preferably with an Engineering or Planning qualification, although we will consider someone with a HNC. Ideally, we would like someone with Microsoft Project experience, but it is more important to be tech savvy with various systems knowledge and have a genuine interest in this area. To be honest, the right attitude and desire to learn will be just as important as having the necessary skills.

What will be paramount is the ability to have and use sound logic, and have a methodical approach to their work.

In terms of how you work, we want a team player, who is keen to learn about our business and is inquisitive and challenging. The ability to get along with others and communicate well is key.

So, if you have all the skills and knowledge we are looking for, that's great and we'd love to hear from you, but if you have limited experience/and or are a recent graduate looking for your opportunity and are really keen to learn, we'd also like you to get in touch.
