Project Office Lead with activity based scheduling / WBS experience required to provide general Project Office support, this will include Risk Management, Cost Controls etc. The role is initially likely to be a mix of remote and Stevenage based working.
The Project Office Lead will learn / train / rollout UP to WP leaders and be accountable for drumbeat and quality of integrated schedule put under Unified Planning (UP).
The role involves but is not limited to the following:
Train UP end users (WP leaders) and support them in their daily scheduling task.
Check and ensure quality of the data placed under UP by end users from the WPs in their perimeter.
Drumbeat UP file update.
Reports on UP data quality and schedule adherence (critical path, clashes…) to Head of Integrated Factory and Head of PMO on a periodic and recurring basis (weekly / monthly).
Support arbitration of minor clashes at Integrated Factory level.
Support escalation of major clashes to Central Program level.
Support UP re-baselining (typically yearly).
Support deployment of the EVM module of UP mid-2021 and construct EVM reporting.
Drumbeat Integrated Factory EVM reporting (typically monthly).
Proven experience within Project Planning and Cost Control.
Unified Planning experience highly advantageous.
Knowledge of Route Book process.
Strong communication skills.
Flexibility to travel is required to meet with stakeholders.
Experience within Change Management.
The position is based around the roll out of UP as part of the programme rather than solely focusing on Project Planning.
