Our client are a leading Portfolio, Programme and Project Management Consultancy, who are looking to add talent on a staff basis for an exciting new framework win.
Do you have experience of operational programme / portfolio / project management using best practice and knowledge of project management tools and methodology? We are looking for project managers with experience at delivery business change projects across wide range of projects and/or industries.
This high-profile opportunity will be primarily client facing; assisting in the support to, and up-skilling of Client teams through proactive knowledge transfer whilst undertaking effective stakeholder engagement. Ideally you should have a clear understanding and ability to enact varying project management method combined with a sound experience of different approaches to the successful embedment of business change.

What will I be doing?
This is a P3M Consulting role requiring experience of operational project management using best practice and knowledge of project management tools and methodology. You will lead, guide and influence teams through the effective communication and utilisation of project management principles appropriate to the agreed vision and strategy.
Working with clients' management teams, you will support delivery, transformational change and control management. This position also carries responsibility for the review, development and improvement of client processes.
Whilst every client commission is different, the role will typically involve some of the following responsibilities:
Business Change: Provide support to the key aspects of Business and Organisational Change management, including scales of change, levels of impact, risks to delivering change and resistance to change.
Programme delivery: Application of appropriate project management and project control processes, ensuring that these are consistently applied to a high standard in delivering value to our customers.
Organisation: Implement, and maintain organisational structures (functional, matrix and project, etc.) employed by different organisations
Vision & Business Case: Contribute to the development of an engaging Vision that can be used to drive the planning and delivery of the programme benefits. Support to development of the business case.
Benefits Management: Provide support to Benefits reviews (identification, planning, realisation)
Programme and Project Controls: Ensure the project/commission has excellent project controls, that support the allocated workstream; ensuring value for money and delivery with certainty of quality outputs.
Develop and monitor cost and schedule baselines (budgets, management reserve, undistributed budget, network schedules, and scope changes).
Collect information from stakeholders, and use this data to monitor and review progress, including development of EVM data, analysis & forecasts.
Governance and Assurance: Undertake review and audit of project performance to ensure data integrity (e.g. through EVM reports, Milestone status, data accuracy). Supports programme assurance reviews on projects of increasing size and complexity and in the delivery of major business and change management solutions. Undertake audit role within each commission.
Consultancy: Ability to operate within multi-disciplinary programme teams; managing own performance and delivery, ensuring consultancy work is delivered in line with the customers' expectations.
