Morson International are looking to recruit experienced Project Managers to join a large name in the Rolling Stock industry.

Main Responsibilities will include:

  1. Managing projects through the lifecycle of bid, initiate, mobilise, delivery and close-out, ensuring all work undertaken is done so in a timely manner and a high standard, in line with customer expectations
  2. Maintaining compliance with statutory and regulatory legal requirements through company processes and procedures
  3. Identifying project risk control measures and conduct periodic reviews to mitigate impact on project, escalating high risks and issues for resolution
  4. Developing effective internal and external working relationships that deliver project requirements and contracted deliverables
  5. Delivering pro-active customer management, leading project review meetings, identify opportunities to maximise revenues and minimise costs
  6. Understanding and recognizing new stakeholder opportunities and maintain existing stakeholder relationships
  7. Supporting the bid team as required with input to support potential new work opportunities and contracts
  8. Developing internal systems, processes, procedures and reporting mechanisms providing clear project control, drive continuous improvement initiatives
  9. Compiling regular project reports detailing performance status.
  10. Ensuring project performance adheres to strict budgets and management of costs with use of ERP system and recording of key project costs

 

 

Ideally you will have:

  1. Experience of rail vehicle heavy maintenance activities
  2. Effective project and people management experience
  3. Understanding of statutory legal health, safety and environmental standards is a requirement
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong analytical techniques
  5. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders along with customer management skills
  6. Understanding of production efficiency tools and techniques
  7. Ability to lead team of people and interface with Executive/ Directors level
  8. Understanding of ROSCO/ TOC/ FOC relationships
  9. Excellent computer proficiency (MS Project, O365)
