Project Manager ( Residential Infrastructure)

Your Role
Depending on the maturity of the project assigned, the role would typically involve developing land use and main residential and infrastructure delivery strategies, appointing and managing the project team for timely outputs such as technical approvals and reserved matters planning consents, overseeing the discharge of main infrastructure related planning conditions and ensuring compliance with S106 obligations and the timely delivery of main infrastructure. You will also work on the tendering process for main infrastructure works, the appointment of main contractors and the contract administration during the construction phase.

This is a challenging project with conflicting priorities between the consortium of housebuilders and therefore any potential candidate would need to demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills. Previous residential infrastructure experience is a key requirement of the role.

About You
You will have full membership of a recognised professional body or be committed to achieving full membership (e.g. MAPM, MRICS or MICE) and preferably an industry recognised professional qualification in Project Management.

You will have residential / infrastructure experience and experience of working with house builder Clients, preferably in the field of managing the delivery of main infrastructure on large urban expansion projects.

You will provide an efficient, collaborative, well governed service using modern management techniques to deliver our projects successfully. You will be experienced in working on major projects and have a demonstrable track record of a high standard of technical delivery.

You will also be experienced in managing both internal and external project teams. WYG provide most if not all technical services in the built and natural environments, and multi-disciplinary projects can involve many different disciplines across a wide range of projects and client organisation types.

You will be a strategic thinker with the ability to convey your ideas both verbally and in report form to Client, external stakeholders and the design team and you will have the ability to adapt strategies in line with changing priorities.
