ASC Project Manager required to join part of our client's business, CORDA which is a growing consultancy business, which specialises in the Defence sector. It uses modelling and analysis to help our clients in the MOD, wider Government and internally make better decisions.
CORDA is the prime contractor for the Analysis Support Construct (ASC), a framework contract, set-up to service the demand for analysis required by UK Defence & Security decision makers.
To run this contract CORDA require an individual to provide project management support to the ASC Programme Management Office (PMO) and a number of specific large ASC projects.
The role involves but is not limited to the following:
Project management of a number of large individual ASC tasks including:
Monitoring, management and reporting of the overall project budget
Ensure delivery of all sub tasks within the project
Management of all subcontractors
Liaison with commercial department to ensure all contractual arrangements with subcontracts are processed in a timely fashion
Production of monthly reports
Liaison with and reporting to the customer
Project management support to the ASC PMO to include:
Management of tasks through the ASC tasking process in a timely manner
Liaison with the ASC Technical Leads, Customers and the Supply Chain
Work as part of the ASC PMO team in a fast pace responsive environment
Be a point of contact for the supply chain and customers and respond to all queries promptly
Monitor tasks once they are on contract including the processing of monthly reports and resulting actions
Monitor task deliverables and raise invoices upon acceptance
Maintain and operate behind an internal firewall during the competition phase of tasks
Candidates should have experience of project management of large defence technical/ analytical projects including the simultaneous project management of a number of projects
The ability to work to demanding timescales under pressure and manage numerous conflicting priorities and the ability to proactively organise and prioritise effectively with a strong attention to detail is also required as is experience of working with suppliers and stakeholder management
Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word
Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will be SC cleared or eligible for this level of clearance.
